Winter hasn’t arrived yet, but the warning signs are already flashing.
Diesel has climbed above $6 a gallon in the United States. Heating-oil customers are being warned to prepare for dramatically higher bills. Fuel shortages and rationing are appearing overseas. Factories are being disrupted. Transportation workers are protesting. Governments are scrambling to subsidize fuel, calm angry populations and keep energy moving.

They want someone who can stop them.
Imagine, then, a leader emerging during an #international crisis who accomplishes what everyone else has failed to #achieve.
He brings hostile #governments to the table.
He provides #security #guarantees.
He negotiates #agreements previously considered #impossible.
Perhaps he resolves disputes surrounding Israel and its #neighbors that #generations of #diplomats could not solve.
The #world would not necessarily view such a #man as #evil.
It might view him as indispensable.
