Jesus Wasn’t Condoning Her Sin, But He Did Tell Her This: “Where Are Your Accusers?” “..Neither Do I Condemn You, Go And Sin No More.”

So that settles any question you might have if God can or will forgive you? God forgives ALL sin….to those that truly ask Him and repent. Does that mean she got away with it?  Does that mean she didn’t have to pay for her sin? Not quite. I imagine she struggled with the shame of that afternoon for a long time. I’m sure the haters were still there gossiping about her afterwards.

But I Can Also Imagine That The Love And Grace She Felt That Afternoon, From A Man She Didn’t Even Know, Far Surpassed Anything She’d Ever Experienced Before. Jesus did more than just save her life from being stoned to death, He looked past her sin and saved her soul. His forgiveness was enough to silence the hate of pious religious leaders. The significance of the silver trumpets could easily be missed.

God commanded Moses in Numbers 10 to make two trumpets of hammered silver. They became associated with Israel’s national life and worship, and Scripture specifically commanded their use during appointed festivals and over certain sacrifices.

For generations, Christians have read those passages as descriptions of Israel’s ancient past.

Now the sound of silver trumpets has been heard again on the mountain where the Temple once stood.

Rabbi Josh Wander, who participated in the Rosh Hashanah gathering, believes this was the first time in thousands of years that the shofar and silver trumpets had sounded together on the Temple Mount.

It was not completely permitted. Police briefly detained those responsible for bringing the instruments onto the Mount, and Israeli authorities confirmed that administrative proceedings were opened. But according to Wander, worshippers were allowed to finish each round of blasts before police intervened.

#Believe #God will DELIVER you, BUT, if he doesn’t, you are willing to die and go to #Heaven.

Have the mind-set of #Shadrach, #Meshach, and #Abednego who were thrown into the furnace — by the #government.

Daniel 3:17 If our #God Whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

3:18 BUT IF NOT, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up! (The government law violated God’s law.) They were ready to die.

Naturally the enemy king wanted this man captured.

6:14 So [the Syrian king] sent there #horses, #chariots, and a GREAT ARMY. They came by night and surrounded the city.

6:15 When the #servant of the man of #God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! “What shall we do?

6:16 [Elisha] answered, FEAR NOT; for those with us are more than those with them.

6:17 Then Elisha #prayed, #Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and BEHOLD, THE MOUNTAIN WAS FULL OF HORSES AND CHARIOTS OF FIRE ROUND ABOUT ELISHA.

6:18 and when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, smite this people with #blindness, I pray You. And God smote them with blindness, as Elisha asked.

#DEMON BUSTER ( #DELIVERANCE ) : In the #Bible there are many #Supernatural events that #God did Himself or used normal, God #believing, #HumanBeings.

#JESUS’ #disciples did many #Miracles.

JESUS did many Miracles also, and said that, as #Believers, we would do greater things.

John 14:12 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the #Father.

Its intensive Prison Fellowship Academy emphasizes #responsibility, #integrity, #productive #work,# community and #restoration. #Prisoners are challenged to confront the thinking that led to their crimes, understand the damage #inflicted upon #victims and begin making different choices.

One movement offers power over others. The other teaches service to others.

One tells prisoners to identify an #enemy. The other commands them to love their enemies.

One can use fear to produce outward #submission. #Christianity calls for voluntary #repentance and an inward #transformation that only #JesusChrist can #accomplish.

Most importantly, the #Gospel does not tell a prisoner that his crimes were society’s fault or that #violence against #unbelievers can restore his honor. It tells him that he is #guilty—but not beyond redemption. He must #repent, accept #responsibility and receive a #forgiveness he could never earn. That forgiveness then becomes the foundation for a transformed life.

#Prophecy #News Watch : Biblical Giving Comes From The Heart

One of the clearest #NewTestament passages about giving appears in #2Corinthians 9:7, where Paul tells #believers that giving should come from what someone has decided in his heart, “not reluctantly or under #compulsion.”

That doesn’t answer every question about #taxation or #GovernmentAssistance. #Governments routinely collect taxes for purposes #citizens may or may not personally support.

But it establishes something important about #Christian #charity: #God isn’t interested only in transferring #resources from someone who has them to someone who needs them. He is also interested in #generosity occurring in the heart of the giver.
