How should we respond when we realize we’ve been on the world’s path again? This verse reveals the beginning of James’s answer: submit to God again. Give up getting what you want, and #willingly receive all the good He gives.
For it is not possible to submit to God and not be at peace with Him or be at peace with God and then not submit to him.
The verse entails that prosperity awaits those that submit and be at peace with God
#1Peter 5:6
This verse serves as an #instruction and as well as an #assurance that if you may humble yourself before God, in due time He’ll surely lift you up.
A #spirit of #humility is #pleasing to the #Father, for it is the #spirit that is so #representative of the #LordJesusChrist.
#Christ was a man that humbled Himself, in the power of the #HolySpirit, under the mighty hand of the Father, and at the proper time He was lifted up; #FirstOnTheCross, and then to His Father’s #throne, in #HeavenlyPlaces.
It may not be easy as it reads here, but it’s definitely worth it.

He came to #earth to #fulfill His #heavenly Father’s will no matter how #painful the task set before Him.

This verse gives us hope that if we #submit ourselves to #God and #resist the #devil, he’ll surely depart from us.
