How Can I Heal?

Not only was I unaware of my need for healing, I’d worked hard at forgetting my past. But as God gently pursued me with His love, I realized that before I could let go of my past, I had to face it.

It didn’t happen overnight. It was a process. And it started with surrendering my past to Him and trusting Him enough to do the next thing He asked me to do — like telling someone.

Bringing my secret out into the open was the hardest step. But in doing so, God’s truth exposed the lies and set me free.

Facing my hurts allowed Him to heal my wounds and grieve the losses I’d experienced.

Other steps included writing my sexual history list and praying for Him to dissolve those past bonds I’d created, allowing me to bond completely with my husband.

I don’t know what your story is, but God does.

He knows what needs healing and the past bonds you need to break.

He’ll lead you step by step as you surrender to Him.

Don’t believe the lie that your past disqualifies you from having God’s best for your future.

Because it’s not true!

Regardless of what’s happened in your past — whether from your own choices or of others’ forced on you — God can and will heal you.

You can keep the past from following you into marriage and robbing you of the intimate bond God desires for you.

I know, because He’s done it for me and countless others.

And He wants to do it for you.

He’s just waiting for you to ask.

Demon Buster (DELIVERANCE) : CURSES ON WOMEN – Curses Placed on Women to Cause Them to Be Unsuccessful or Failures in Ministry and Business.

As I (Elizabeth) was praying the other day the Lord spoke to me about breaking the curse placed on me as a woman to cause me not to be successful or become a failure in my business.

As I was praying and breaking this curse I realized that this curse would also affect the ministry that the Lord has called me to.

As we all know, until the last few years, women in the work place have been hired at lower salaries as men even though they may do the same work.

The men have said that women should not be paid the same because they are not the heads of their households.

This day we know that that statement is not true.

More women are without a husband and are raising their children and taking over as the head of the house.

Also, in the church some men have said that women should not be allowed to minister.

The thoughts and words spoken against us regarding our salaries, positions at the work place or places of ministry have put curses on us to keep us from being successful or cause us to be failures.

Even though in the last few years things have changed and women are being paid better and more women are being allowed to minister the curses are still there.

These curses will keep women at a certain level mentally, spiritually and financially.

The Word of God says in Galatians 3:13 – Amplified Bible Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree.

The meaning of the word curse here is curse.

So in the Name of Jesus we break the curse placed on us to cause us to be unsuccessful or failures in the work place, businesses and ministry.

Sample Warfare Prayer to break these curses:

Father,
In Jesus Name,
I break the power of the words spoken against me as a woman by men,
or anyone else, that have caused me to be unsuccessful or a failure in my business,
work place,
home as head of my house,
and ministry.

[Then you command all demons of failure, etc. to go in Jesus Name.] AMEN

Extend forgiveness towards those who have hurt you

Unforgiveness will hinder or block the healing power of the Holy Spirit. It will bind you up and separate you from God’s forgiving and healing power. It is vital to release those feelings that you have against others, so that the Holy Spirit’s healing and forgiving power can heal and restore your soul.

Unforgiveness is a deadly poison that separates us from God’s forgiveness in our own lives and gives us over to tormenting spirits. It is hard to receive healing when one is in such a position. Consider these passages in scripture concerning the deadliness of unforgiveness and bitterness in our lives:

Mark 11:25-26, “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

As we can see, unforgiveness will block God’s forgiveness from operating in our own lives. Inner healing requires God’s forgiveness.

Matthew 18:32-35, “Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.”

Unforgiveness will put us into the hands of tormenting spirits. This is the last thing we need when we’re seeking healing for our souls! As if that isn’t enough, unforgiveness also puts a person in spiritual darkness and separation from God, and defiles us spiritually:

1 John 2:11, “But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.”

Hebrews 12:15, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”

It is absolutely essential to release feelings of bitterness and unforgiveness, in order to fully receive healing for our souls. Forgiving others will welcome the healing power of the Holy Spirit into our lives.

CONFESSIONS OF A PART-TIME CHRISTIAN

Welcome to part 6 of the Going By Faith series “Uncovering Going By Faith and Finding Faith.” For the previous confession, click “confessions of greed.”

If you feel like you’ve been living like a part-time Christian, living for God sometimes and turning away other times, take a moment to repent. You can do this by praying with the Bible verse below. Next, read the questions one by one — answer them truthfully. Confess it if you’ve been irresponsible toward God. Be honest — this is between you and Him.

Every “yes” answer means sin in your life. Name it, and let there be no excuse — admit it and ask forgiveness.

PRAY

Below are three translations of 1 Corinthians 4:2. Reading all three can give us a special glimpse into the true meaning of being responsible with our saved life in God’s eyes.

“Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” (NIV)

“Now, a person who is put in charge as a manager must be faithful.” (NLV)

“Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.” (ESV)

CONFESS

  • Are you undependable so that you cannot be trusted with responsibilities in the Lord’s work?
  • Are you allowing your emotions to be stirred for things of the Lord but doing nothing about it?
