#JESUS’ #disciples did many #Miracles.
JESUS did many Miracles also, and said that, as #Believers, we would do greater things.
John 14:12 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the #Father.

The #commandments against stealing and coveting make little sense without some concept of #legitimate #possession.
Likewise, throughout #Scripture #people own #homes, #land, #businesses and #possessions. The #Bible #repeatedly regulates how property should be acquired and used rather than simply #abolishing #ownership.
Acts itself continues referring to #Christians who owned homes even after describing the #Jerusalem believers’ remarkable sharing of #possessions.

But before we look at specific verses, let’s first define what submission means.
#Webster #dictionary defines submission as “the act of submitting or yielding to the will or authority of another”.
When it comes to our #relationship with #God, submission means giving ourselves over completely to Him, trusting Him #implicitly, and following His #guidance.
This can be a difficult thing to do, but it’s also incredibly liberating.

When it comes to the topic of submission, the Bible has a lot to say.
But at its heart, the teaching on submission is about yielding to the #Lord and #TrustingHim.
In fact, one of the best places to start is with the story of #Abraham in the book of #Genesis.
After God called him to leave his home and #family, #Abraham #submitted to Him, even though he didn’t understand where he was being led.
Later, when God asked Abraham to offer his son #Isaac as a sacrifice, Abraham again yielded to Him, proving his #faith and trust in God.
Another key Bible passage on submission is from Paul’s letter to the #Philippians.
There, Paul calls #Christians to have the same mindset as #Christ, who “did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,” but instead “made himself nothing” and #submitted Himself fully to God.
When we submit ourselves to God, we are acknowledging His authority and power in our lives.
We are also saying that we trust Him enough to follow His direction even if we don’t understand it.

Spend time reading the #bible and learning the truth of God’s word. Let it fill you with #faith so you can better understand His plan for you.
Get involved in a church or #devotional group
Surround yourself with others who also want to submit to #God in all their ways. This will help strengthen your resolve and provide an invaluable support system.
Remember that submitting to God doesn’t mean that you have to #abandon all #hopes of ever having what you want in life it just means that He comes first above all else. Look at it as an #opportunity for growth, rather than an #impossible task, and trust that He is working behind the scenes on our behalf at all times.

For it is not possible to submit to God and not be at peace with Him or be at peace with God and then not submit to him.
The verse entails that prosperity awaits those that submit and be at peace with God
#1Peter 5:6
This verse serves as an #instruction and as well as an #assurance that if you may humble yourself before God, in due time He’ll surely lift you up.
A #spirit of #humility is #pleasing to the #Father, for it is the #spirit that is so #representative of the #LordJesusChrist.
#Christ was a man that humbled Himself, in the power of the #HolySpirit, under the mighty hand of the Father, and at the proper time He was lifted up; #FirstOnTheCross, and then to His Father’s #throne, in #HeavenlyPlaces.

But His ongoing favor is readily available to every #believer, as we journey along the #PathOfLife.
Having been born again of the #Spirit, we are called to trust in the #Lord with all our heart, and we also have a #biblical #responsibility to walk in His ways and #humble ourselves before His face, as outlined in this verse
#Job 22:21
This verse lets us understand that #Submitting to #God and being at #peace with him is one but the same thing.
–

And as the appointed time for the work of #redemption drew ever closer, the #LordJesus is found on His face beseeching the #Father: “If you are #willing, remove this cup from Me.. nevertheless,” He #submissively continues, “not My will, but Yours, be done.
#James 4:10
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.-
This verse serves as a piece of advice that we may submit ourselves before the #Lord and he’ll surely lift us up.

#Acts 5:29
This verse is a #cornerstone of #Christian ethics: that #God’s will is worth #suffering for.
This #statement is a crucial part of Christian ethics.
While #believers are commanded to “ #submit ” to earthly government, that is not always the same as “ #obeying ” #government.
#Peter and the other #apostles live out a clear example of this in the early chapters of the book of #Acts.
