Matthew 19:6
So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

1 Corinthians 6:16
Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two will become one flesh.”

The great news is we can remit the sins of both our blood family and our spouses’ family on their behalf and break the inherited curses.

John 20:23
“Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.”

You may not ever fully know the full scope of the sinful activity of your ancestors or in-laws. But it will be important to remit, repent for and renounce their sins (and yours) nevertheless. Once you understand that God looks at generational sin, you can more successfully repent and break the harmful soul ties.

I have written out a thorough process to make it easy for you. Make sure to read *out loud* this detailed repentance prayer. Many families have been helped by one family member interceding for these sins by praying this prayer earnestly.
