Prominent evangelical leader Franklin Graham says that the Democratic Party is “opposed to faith” and warns that the left will “close the Church down in many places” should the United States fall into the embrace of socialism.
Graham, the president of Samaritan’s Purse and the son of famed evangelist Billy Graham, sat down with CBN News correspondent David Brody last Friday to discuss the Democratic and Republican conventions that took place over the past two weeks.
He also discussed his upcoming Washington Prayer March that will take place at the end of September in Washington, D.C.
“The Democrats, if anything, they are opposed to faith,” Graham asserted after being asked to compare and contrast the major parties’ positions on faith.
WASHINGTON — Liberty University on Monday announced it has opened an independent investigation into “all facets” of the tenure of Jerry Falwell Jr., the evangelical school’s disgraced former president who resigned last week amid an alleged sex scandal.
The school hired a leading outside forensics firm, according to a statement issued by the Liberty’s executive committee on behalf of the board of trustees, that will investigate all aspects of Falwell’s 13-year run leading the school including “financial, real estate and legal matters.” The school did not provide further details of the scope.
Liberty, based in Lynchburg, Virginia, is “committed to learning the consequences that have flowed from a lack of spiritual stewardship by our former president,” the statement said.
Since its founding in 1948, only five U.S. presidents have visited Israel. The first was Richard Nixon in 1974 and Donald Trump will be the sixth. The infrequency of these events alone guarantees that the Trump trip will garner high publicity and will be enthusiastically received by Israelis.
The image of an American president at the Western Wall — directly rebuking UNESCO’s rejection of a Jewish tie to the site — and his message of unequivocal commitment to Israel’s security will also be deeply appreciated. Beyond optics and messaging, though, fateful issues will also be addressed during the President Trump’s stay.
One of these is the question of reanimating peace talks with the Palestinians. President Barack Obama tried for eight years, unsuccessfully, to bring the Palestinians back to the negotiating table. Israel’s position was and remains: we want direct talks now with no preconditions. In addition, Israel looks forward to the support and participation of our Arab neighbours, Jordan and Egypt, in the peace process as well as Sunni states in the Gulf.
In a disgusting tyrannical move, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy has banished 7 cadets from the grounds for being unvaccinated, even though multiple lawsuits have stopped other services from continuing to impose the vaccine mandates.
Below is a press release from STARRS.us, a group of service academy graduates.
When asked about how he fills his days since his father-in-law lost his reelection campaign in 2020, Kushner said that he spends most of his time with his wife Ivanka and their three children.
However, he added: ‘From the last year, the one thing I’ve tried to put a priority on since I left the White House was, you know, getting some exercise in.’
Kushner continued: ‘I think that there is a good probability that my generation is, hopefully with the advances in science, either the first generation to live forever, or the last generation that’s going to die.’
Yet another shake-up among Schwab’s leaders. Estonia’s Prime Minister Kaja Kallas stepped down from her role on a technicality before being reappointed a day later. Kallas’ Reform Party reached an agreement with the Social Democrats and Isamaa Party to form a new three-party coalition.
Estonia shares a 180-mile border with Russia and has strongly supported Ukraine before the war began. Estonia is a small nation with a population of around 31 million and a GDP of $36.29 billion USD. Their inflation rate is among the highest in Europe after spiking to 22% in June.
Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is using her PAC, Onward Together, to bankroll Iowa Democrats in tough elections, according to the organization’s most recent FEC filing.
Onward Together was founded by the former secretary of state in May 2017 after her second failed presidential campaign, in which she lost to former President Donald Trump. She wanted to use the organization to advance her vision of “progressive values and work to build a brighter future for generations to come,” the website states.
SBTV spoke with Charles Nenner, founder of the Charles Nenner Research Center, about how cycles affect the markets. Charles believes that individual actors in the market has no control and that long-term cycles are the determinants of market behavior.
