Myth #3. $ex is Just for Him

All men love $ex, and women just have to grin and bear it? That’s what a lot of selfish guys are happy to let you believe, but it’s not Biblical. God created $ex to be enjoyed by both the man AND the woman, and it’s okay to enjoy it! You’re supposed to!

In fact, did you know that God made one part of your body with the SOLE purpose of providing $exual pleasure? Why would He give it to you if He didn’t expect you and your husband to take full advantage of it?? $ex is for you too! Your husband will enjoy it more if you let yourself enjoy it!

Myth #2. Marriage Fixes Everything

Of course, just because God created $ex within marriage to be good, that doesn’t mean $ex is automatically going to be wonderful as soon as you’re married.

If you experimented sexually before marriage (even if it was with your husband), you could have inadvertently created $exual baggage you’ll then bring into your marriage. Or even if you waited until marriage, you might have other hurts, fears or hang-ups that get in your way.

Plus, you might be brand new and just plain not know what you’re doing yet. Every person likes different things, and it takes a lot of time and practice to really reach the level of intimacy God created us to have. (Those these Christian $ex tips can help shorten the learning curve!)

So if $ex isn’t awesome right off the bat — that’s okay! Sometimes there are obstacles you have to unroot and take care of first, and plus, it just takes some practice. Being one with someone isn’t easy. You have to work at it! So don’t feel bad if it isn’t all unicorns and rainbows right away.

Marriage isn’t a magic pill; it’s a life-long commitment and good $ex / intimacy does take work.

Myth #1. $ex is Wrong/Dirty

Sure, some of the ways $ex is practiced today are wrong or dirty, but $ex as a whole is certainly not wrong or dirty. $ex was God’s idea. It’s God’s gift to us. There’s even a whole book of the Bible devoted to celebrating the love between a young man and his new bride, and it’s seriously graphic!

“How beautiful you are and how pleasing,
my love, with your delights!
Your stature is like that of the palm,
and your breasts like clusters of fruit.
I said, ‘I will climb the palm tree;
I will take hold of its fruit.’”

–Song of Songs 7:6-8a

In the Old Testament, new husbands weren’t allowed to go to war during the first year of their marriage because they had to stay home and “please their wives.”

“If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.” –Deuteronomy 24:5

And in the New Testament, married couples were encouraged NOT to stop having sex.

“Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.” –1 Corinthians 7:5

7 Lies Christian Women Believe About $ex 🌺 Written by Brittany Ann

Did your parents teach you about sex when you were growing up?

Did they do a good job? Or did you have to learn most of what you know at school, at church, on the playground, or even in books or on websites once you were older?

It’s funny, for a culture where $ex is so prevalent (it’s hard to watch a show that doesn’t include or at least reference it–even on so-called “family” channels)we really don’t talk about $ex the way we should.

It’s all jokes and references–not really the information that Christian women need to know.

And as a result, there are a LOT of misconceptions about what $ex is, what it’s for, and what it does to us spiritually and emotionally — even among Christian women who are old enough to know better!

Personally, I think my mom did a pretty good job of teaching me the things I’d need to know. And yet, I still grew up with tons of misconceptions and misunderstandings that I was taught–not by my parents, but by the CHURCH of all places, and by the culture around me. Maybe you did too.

Do any of these 7 Lies Christian Women Believe About $ex sound familiar to you?

Russia Says It Chased US Submarine Out Of Its Territorial Waters

Russia’s military on Saturday announced it had chased a US submarine from Russian waters in the far east, near the Pacific Kuril islands. Likely it will be contested by the Pentagon side that the submarine was ever in “Russian waters”, however, as the region is also claimed by Japan.

According to Reuters, “The Russian military said on Saturday it used ‘appropriate means’ to make a U.S. submarine leave Russian waters in the far east after the vessel ignored a Russian request to leave, Interfax news agency reported.”

Russia issues warning to US Another round of negotiations between Moscow and Washington on Ukraine has been held ahead of crucial talks

Another round of Russia-US negotiations on the Ukraine crisis, on Saturday, saw Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warn his American counterpart, Antony Blinken against a “propaganda campaign” over an alleged plan by Moscow to attack Ukraine.

Both foreign and defense ministers of the two countries held phone conversations over “security issues of mutual interest,” ahead of crucial talks between the presidents of Russia and the US, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, in the evening.

According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lavrov stressed that “the propaganda campaign launched by the United States and its allies about ‘Russian aggression’ against Ukraine pursues provocative goals,” which, in his opinion, involved encouraging Kiev “to sabotage the Minsk agreements,” as well as “harmful attempts to resolve the ‘Donbass problem’ by force.”

The foreign minister also said the US and NATO ignored key provisions of the Russian proposals for European security, including a ban on the alliance’s eastward expansion.

It was emphasized that these issues would be a focus point of our review of the documents received from the US and NATO, which will be brought to the attention of colleagues,” the foreign ministry said following the conversation, which was initiated by the American side.

I spoke with Foreign Minister Lavrov today to urge a diplomatic resolution to Russia’s unprovoked military build-up around Ukraine. I reiterated that further Russian aggression would be met with a resolute, massive, and united Transatlantic response,” Blinken said on Twitter.

Ukraine replies to Russian demands The Ukrainian foreign minister has accused Russia of making “unacceptable” demands

Russia’s demands for security guarantees are not a starting point for discussion and negotiation, but are instead plunging the European continent into a “deep security crisis,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said on Thursday.

Speaking virtually to the French Institute of International Relations, Kuleba called on Kiev’s Western allies to be united against Moscow.

Last year, Russia sent the US and NATO a list of demands in the form of two draft treaties, seeking legally binding guarantees from Washington and Brussels over the future of European security. These include an end to NATO’s eastwards expansion, the withdrawal of troops, and an end to the deployment of strike missiles near Russia’s borders.

“The ultimatums issued by the Kremlin, now in the form of documents, simply do not comprise acceptable solutions,” Kuleba said. “Requirements to take or not take some countries into NATO, to withdraw troops from the Alliance’s territory, are unacceptable. This is not a starter for a discussion. It is a loaded revolver put on the table.”

US military attache summoned to Russian Defense Ministry over submarine incident Virginia-class US nuclear-powered submarine was detected on Saturday morning near the Pacific Fleet’s drills near Urup Island of the Kuril Chain

MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. Russia’s Defense Ministry has summoned a US military attache over the incident with Virginia-class US nuclear-powered submarine detected on Saturday morning near the Pacific Fleet’s drills near Urup Island of the Kuril Chain.

“The attache for defense issues at the US Embassy in Moscow has been summoned to the Russian Defense Ministry in connection with the violation of the Russian state border by the US Navy’s submarine,” the ministry said in a statement.

According to the ministry, a Virginia-class submarine belonging to the US Navy was detected on February 12, 2022 at 10.40 (Moscow Time).

Under the guiding documents on protection of the Russian state border in the underwater environment, the crew of the Pacific Fleet’s frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov used appropriate means. The US submarine started a self-propelled simulator to split the target image on radar and acoustic control means into two parts and retreated from Russian territorial waters at a maximum speed, the ministry said.

The Pacific Fleet’s ships continue scheduled drills, including to ensure control in the underwater environment and thwart violations of Russia’s state border.

Amnesty International smears peaceful freedom protesters as violent racists “Nazi flags, Confederate flags, and other symbols of racism and hate exhibited have no room in peaceful protests. Equally concerning is the affiliation of some of the Convoy organizers with overtly racist, white supremacist groups.”

Amnesty International has issued a statement Friday smearing the peaceful Freedom Convoy protesters in the city of Ottawa as violent racists.

The international non-governmental organization focused on human rights joined the mob that’s attempting to frame the largely peaceful trucker demonstration as a scene of violence, despite abundant footage of huggingdancing, and singing.
