AWFUL: Pelosi And Schumer Brag On CNN About Ambushing Trump: ‘She Set Him Up So I Could Go In For The Kill’

CNN hosted Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer for a dinner and joint interview at Hunan Dynasty.

And yes, it was as cringey and creepy as it sounds.  It was also disturbing to watch two of the architects of evil gloat and giggle over their treatment of President Trump.

CNN reporter Jamie Gangel led the conversation.

Gangel:

“I want to talk about how the two of you navigated working with former President Trump.”

With a chilling giggle, Schumer replied:

“We had a good time.”

Gangel:

“Was there a strategy when you went into a meeting? Was there a good cop/bad cop?”

Pelosi:

“So I’m thinking, ‘How is he going to begin?’ Is he going to quote the Constitution, American history, [a] poet, the Bible?”

Mocking Trump, Pelosi continued:

“‘You know, I won the popular vote.’ And I said, ‘Mr. President, that’s just not true.’”

Speaking of the first government shutdown, Schumer gleefully shared:

“We sort of set him up, instinctively. We didn’t plan this.”

Pelosi gushed:

“Chuck was masterful. He was masterful.”

Schumer:

“She set him up so I could go in for the kill.”

Pelosi: ‘Right-Wing Extremists Target Transgender Americans’ Most Fundamental Rights and Freedoms’

(CNSNews.com) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) put out a statement on Sunday in honor of the “Transgender Day of Remembrance” in which she vowed to fight to protect the rights of transgenders from, among others, “MAGA Republicans” and those “spouting dangerous rhetoric from cable news desks.”

“As our nation marks Transgender Day of Remembrance, the House Democratic Caucus mourns the countless Americans stolen away by the scourge of transphobic violence, a crisis that continues to disproportionately harm trans people of color,” said Pelosi. “Today, and every day, let us offer comfort to grieving loved ones, honor the memory of those killed and continue fighting to save lives from the wicked forces of hate.

“That fight remains more urgent than ever, as right-wing extremists target transgender Americans’ most fundamental rights and freedoms,” she said.

“Whether spouting dangerous rhetoric from cable news desks or openly bullying schoolchildren from the halls of power, MAGA Republicans are cruelly undermining the safety and well-being of our transgender community,” said Pelosi.
