Step 3: Confess Sins Then Forgive Those Who Have Harmed You

Matthew 6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

SAY THIS:

Father I understand the necessity of forgiving others so that you can offer me forgiveness. I also understand that the spiritual war is not with flesh and blood, but with principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and wickedness in heavenly places. So I choose to forgive all those who have harmed me. You say to bless and not curse Lord, and it says in your Word that YOU have cursed those who curse your people. I shall continue forgiving ALL abusers, slanderers, accusers and anyone causing me harm and I will not take offense nor punish others in retribution in Jesus’ name. 

Vengeance belongs to you God, not me. I forgive everyone who has hurt me and pray that they come to bow their knees to you and come to know the knowledge of the Truth that will set them free. In Jesus’ name, I loose myself from all pain, betrayal, rejection, abuse, trauma, shame, guilt and abandonment, as it is not mine to carry. It has already been nailed to the cross at Calvary!

I now take hold of the power given to me by Jesus Christ to loose myself from all yokes of resentment, hatred, desire for revenge and every other malicious thought. And I bind myself to the bundle of life with the Lord my redeemer, my sanctifier, my deliverer, the strong One who sees, my victory banner, my Dayspring.

Father, as I forgive myself and others, thank you that you forgive me. For in Matthew 6:14 it says, if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Step 2: Confess Your Freedom in Christ Jesus & Receive the Holy Spirit Indwelling

SAY THIS:

By accepting salvation through the blood shed by Jesus Christ at Calvary, I am now an adopted child of God. I believe in the Living God, I believe in Jesus Christ, Son of God and his life, death and resurrection.

Heavenly Father, as a believer in Jesus Christ, I come to You to receive the Holy Spirit. Your Word says, “how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him” (Lk 11:13). I now make spiritual legal demand of what is due me according to Your Word for you to give me the Holy Spirit. I thank You as I believe that I receive (Mk 11:24) the Holy Spirit into me now. I thank You that the Holy Spirit has come to dwell in my spirit now, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jeremiah found the Word of God and did eat it, and it became the joy of his heart. I have found the Word of God and as I read the scriptures with revelation by the Holy Sprit, let it produce within me the power to rejoice in the Holy Spirit, the power to be steadfast in following God, the power to walk circumspectly, the power of holy living and the power of unashamed faithfulness in all circumstances.

Let the joy of the Lord strengthen me. Let His right hand of righteousness uphold me. Let His countenance brighten up my life. Let the horn of His salvation lift me up out of the valley of life and let His living anointing fan on me like the dew of Hermon and fill me with life. Father God, as it is written that I should be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, I ask that You be my might and strength all the days of my life. Gird me with Your strength and let me not fall into the pit of enemies. Oh Lord, let it be performed unto me as I have prayed, in Jesus Christ’s Holy and Mighty Name. Amen.

Gal 6:17 – From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.

Step 1: Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior

Some of you might need to pause to commit or re-commit your life to Jesus Christ. You can then come back to this prayer afterwards. There is no freedom from soul ties without Jesus Christ as Lord of your life.

There is only one Name by which you have the power and authority to cast out the demons that cause soul bondages: Jesus Christ. Do not be fooled by other means for “cutting cords” and various rituals that promise freedom from soul ties. You are only getting trapped into deeper bondage. If you are serious about getting free, the first step is to be sure you personally know the true Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. There are false “christs” everywhere in this day.

Here’s how you can know the true Jesus (Yeshua) Messiah…

Pray to the Living God, the God of the Bible and ask Him the following:

Are You the One and only True God?
Did you create heaven, earth and all of mankind?
Is the bible completely, literally true?
Is Jesus Christ of Nazareth Your Son, God who came in the flesh?
Did Your Son Jesus Christ really die as a final sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins and to overcome the devil?
Did Jesus Christ really rise from the dead as the only Savior of the world?
Is there really a devil who can appear as an angel of light and who wants to destroy me?

Will you please show me the answers to these questions in a way that is meaningful to me so that I know it’s you answering? I am asking you with a genuine heart. I’m willing to give up everything I think I know in order to know the truth about who you are. Thank you and Amen.

If you’re sincere in your asking, God will show the truth to you. When you get your answer, however you respond to receive Him is ok, so long as in some way you believe in your heart and confess out loud that you want Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. You can say something from your heart like:

Most High God Who formed me, I believe that Christ Jesus, Your Son, died at Calvary to take away my sins and that He rose again from the dead and ascended to Heaven. I confess my sin of unbelief and I now choose to believe in and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Father thank you for this free gift of salvation that I did not have to earn or be good enough for. You have accepted me as I am and you are going to restore me as I walk closely with you all the days of my life.

Saying this means you have gone from spiritual death to spiritual life, which is why it is called being born again. We are born into sin and death because of Adam’s sin and we can be reborn into eternal life by the blood of Christ Jesus.

How To Be Free From All Curses

Curses are real, don’t let anyone fool you, A lot of people are suffering today from all forms of calamity as a result of curses upon there life. This curse has become a stronghold in their life. For instance, there are some family where barrenness is common, from generation to generation, there is always some members of that family that suffer from barrenness. Some other families, they don’t get married, they only give birth at home, some is untimely death, while some its poverty and struggling. All this are effects of evil pronouncements in the lives of people.
The good news is this, every curse can be broken, and anyone under a curse can be set free by the finger of God. Now let’s look at some steps to breaking free from all forms of curses.

1. Salvation :

1 John 5:4: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

Salvation is the first step to overcoming curses. Every child of God is born of God, and everyone that is born of God cannot be under a curse. The bible calls you a New creation, old things including all curses are passed away forever. If you are struggling to break curses and evil patterns in your life, then you must give your heart to Christ or rededicate your life to Christ. The moment you confess and accept Jesus Christ into your life, you shall be set free from the devil in Jesus Christ name. To give your heart to Christ today, say the prayers for salvation below:

2. Be A Student Of The Word:

1 Peter 2:2: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby

Now that you are saved, you need to be a student of the word to know who you are in Christ. The word of God is light, it opens your eyes to see what you need to do to overcome the devil. When the devil tempted Jesus Christ in the wilderness, He overcame the devil by the word. The Word of God carries the Spirit of God, John 6:63. When you are full of Gods word, you are full of God Himself. To break free from all curses, you must be a word filled child of God. The word of God in you scatters every curse speaking in your life.

3. Fasting And Prayers:

Matthew 17:21: Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Fasting and prayers is a spiritual tool to generate the power of God inside of you. The devil will not leave you without a fight, yes you are born again, you are no longer his victim, but the devil will still come after you to attack you. He will still send evil arrows of curses against you to bring you down, that is why you must be on fire through the platform of fasting and prayers. No fly can come near a hot stove, in the same way no devil can curse a hot Christian. When your Christian life is on fire, you cannot be harmed by the devil, and fasting and prayers keep your Christian life on fire.

Galatians 6:7: Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

3. The Curse Of Man:

This curse is a self-inflicted curse. It is triggered by wrong doing or evil deeds. For instance when you form a habit cheating people and robbing them, you are under this curse. The bible said “the curse of the Lord is in the house of a thief” . Show me an evil person, and I will show you a person who is under a curse. This kind of Curse is generational in nature, many people today have attracted curses today upon themselves and their generation because of their evil deeds.

The remedy is salvation and repentance. After you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, you must ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and show you how to live like Christ. You must as much as possible make the necessary amendments in your lifestyle depending solely on the grace of Jesus Christ.

Deuteronomy 28:15: But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

The curse of the law is triggered by disobedience. This was the curse at work in the lives of the children of Israel in the old testament. If you obey God, you are blessed, but if you disobey God, you are cursed. The good news is this, if you are born again, Christ has set you free from all the curses of the law. Galatians 3:13-14.
