Step 4: Renounce Pride, Rebellion and Self-Centeredness

SAY THIS:

Lord God, I know that pride is an abomination to you. I repent for and renounce pride, rebellion, disobedience, stubbornness and self-centeredness. I humble myself and come to You as a little child and ask for forgiveness and deliverance. Father God, I reject all of the pride that keeps me from seeing you clearly. Also, as your word says that new converts must not teach, (1 Timothy 3:6) I come against all lingering pride in my life that would lead me to turn around and teach as a brand new convert.

1 Tim 3:6 – He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil.

I break all pride off of my soul that would lead me onto more deceptive paths and away from quiet study of the scriptures, fasting, deliverance and prayer. I break all curses of pride and the spirit of leviathan from my life in the name of Jesus. I bind leviathan and all proud spirits arrayed against my life (Job 41:5). Lord, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I bring down the proud demons that have exalted themselves against Your people. In Jesus Name, I rip the scales of leviathan (Job 41:15), I release the sword of the Lord against leviathan (Isaiah 27:1), I break the strength of leviathan’s neck (Psalm 18:40), I break the stony heart of leviathan and crush it to pieces (Job 41:24).

God, you resist the proud. Your power is against the high ones who have rebelled against You. Lord God, scatter the proud in the imagination of their hearts. Let not the foot of pride come against me (Psalm 36:11). Lord, I break the crown of pride (Isaiah 28:1) in Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name. Lord God, let not leviathan oppress me (Psalm 119:122). Lord, raise up a watch over leviathan (Job 7:12). I bind and cast out all mind control spirits of the octopus and squid in the name of Christ Jesus. Let the waters of the pride of the deep be dried up, and destroy every spirit of leviathan (Job 41:31, Isaiah 44:27). I call for a drought upon leviathan’s waters (Jeremiah 50:38, Jeremiah 51:36) in Jesus’ Mighty Name! Amen.

Step 3: Confess Sins Then Forgive Those Who Have Harmed You

Matthew 6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

SAY THIS:

Father I understand the necessity of forgiving others so that you can offer me forgiveness. I also understand that the spiritual war is not with flesh and blood, but with principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and wickedness in heavenly places. So I choose to forgive all those who have harmed me. You say to bless and not curse Lord, and it says in your Word that YOU have cursed those who curse your people. I shall continue forgiving ALL abusers, slanderers, accusers and anyone causing me harm and I will not take offense nor punish others in retribution in Jesus’ name.

Vengeance belongs to you God, not me. I forgive everyone who has hurt me and pray that they come to bow their knees to you and come to know the knowledge of the Truth that will set them free. In Jesus’ name, I loose myself from all pain, betrayal, rejection, abuse, trauma, shame, guilt and abandonment, as it is not mine to carry. It has already been nailed to the cross at Calvary!

I now take hold of the power given to me by Jesus Christ to loose myself from all yokes of resentment, hatred, desire for revenge and every other malicious thought. And I bind myself to the bundle of life with the Lord my redeemer, my sanctifier, my deliverer, the strong One who sees, my victory banner, my Dayspring.

Father, as I forgive myself and others, thank you that you forgive me. For in Matthew 6:14 it says, if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Step 2: Confess Your Freedom in Christ Jesus & Receive the Holy Spirit Indwelling

SAY THIS:

By accepting salvation through the blood shed by Jesus Christ at Calvary, I am now an adopted child of God. I believe in the Living God, I believe in Jesus Christ, Son of God and his life, death and resurrection.

Heavenly Father, as a believer in Jesus Christ, I come to You to receive the Holy Spirit. Your Word says, “how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him” (Lk 11:13). I now make spiritual legal demand of what is due me according to Your Word for you to give me the Holy Spirit. I thank You as I believe that I receive (Mk 11:24) the Holy Spirit into me now. I thank You that the Holy Spirit has come to dwell in my spirit now, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jeremiah found the Word of God and did eat it, and it became the joy of his heart. I have found the Word of God and as I read the scriptures with revelation by the Holy Sprit, let it produce within me the power to rejoice in the Holy Spirit, the power to be steadfast in following God, the power to walk circumspectly, the power of holy living and the power of unashamed faithfulness in all circumstances.

Let the joy of the Lord strengthen me. Let His right hand of righteousness uphold me. Let His countenance brighten up my life. Let the horn of His salvation lift me up out of the valley of life and let His living anointing fan on me like the dew of Hermon and fill me with life. Father God, as it is written that I should be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, I ask that You be my might and strength all the days of my life. Gird me with Your strength and let me not fall into the pit of enemies. Oh Lord, let it be performed unto me as I have prayed, in Jesus Christ’s Holy and Mighty Name. Amen.

Gal 6:17 – From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.

Step 1: Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior

Some of you might need to pause to commit or re-commit your life to Jesus Christ. You can then come back to this prayer afterwards. There is no freedom from soul ties without Jesus Christ as Lord of your life.

There is only one Name by which you have the power and authority to cast out the demons that cause soul bondages: Jesus Christ. Do not be fooled by other means for “cutting cords” and various rituals that promise freedom from soul ties. You are only getting trapped into deeper bondage. If you are serious about getting free, the first step is to be sure you personally know the true Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. There are false “christs” everywhere in this day.

Here’s how you can know the true Jesus (Yeshua) Messiah…

Pray to the Living God, the God of the Bible and ask Him the following:

Are You the One and only True God?
Did you create heaven, earth and all of mankind?
Is the bible completely, literally true?
Is Jesus Christ of Nazareth Your Son, God who came in the flesh?
Did Your Son Jesus Christ really die as a final sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins and to overcome the devil?
Did Jesus Christ really rise from the dead as the only Savior of the world?
Is there really a devil who can appear as an angel of light and who wants to destroy me?

Will you please show me the answers to these questions in a way that is meaningful to me so that I know it’s you answering? I am asking you with a genuine heart. I’m willing to give up everything I think I know in order to know the truth about who you are. Thank you and Amen.

If you’re sincere in your asking, God will show the truth to you. When you get your answer, however you respond to receive Him is ok, so long as in some way you believe in your heart and confess out loud that you want Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. You can say something from your heart like:

Most High God Who formed me, I believe that Christ Jesus, Your Son, died at Calvary to take away my sins and that He rose again from the dead and ascended to Heaven. I confess my sin of unbelief and I now choose to believe in and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Father thank you for this free gift of salvation that I did not have to earn or be good enough for. You have accepted me as I am and you are going to restore me as I walk closely with you all the days of my life.

Saying this means you have gone from spiritual death to spiritual life, which is why it is called being born again. We are born into sin and death because of Adam’s sin and we can be reborn into eternal life by the blood of Christ Jesus.

Majors Stadium Greenville, Texas The home of a former Minor League baseball team that beat Joe DiMaggio’s New York Yankees in 1949.

DRIVE NORTH ON NARROW HOUSTON Street in the northeastern section of Greenville, Texas, and you will see a mix of houses and industrial buildings. But at a seemingly random intersection, you will find an old entry gate and a historical marker, which is all that remains of Majors Stadium.

Greenville is located about 50 miles northeast of Dallas. The stadium was home to high school football, followed by a minor league baseball team named the Majors starting in 1946. The stadium and the team were named after World War II hero Truett Majors.

In 1949, the team played an exhibition game against the New York Yankees and won 4-3. Playing in center field was Joe DiMaggio. Pitcher Monty Stratton played in this stadium in 1950 for the Majors. He was portrayed by Jimmy Stewart in the movie The Stratton Story.

Know Before You Go

Google Maps will probably take you to the wrong spot. The approximate coordinates are 33.1410765, -96.1022273, which is on Houston Street, just south of Blades Street. There is not a good place to park, and there is no shoulder on the road. There is a sign stating that you cannot park on the grass. But, the road does not seem to have much traffic.

Go a few feet north of the entry, and you will see a small, brick building. There might be room to park near this building along the fence, and then walk back to the entry.

Lando School Lando, South Carolina An ornate abandoned schoolhouse hidden in the woods near a decaying mill town.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

THE LANDO SCHOOLHOUSE WAS BUILT in 1904-5 in the Italian Renaissance revival style for the employees of the Manetta Mill. The school was built in an unusually opulent style for a mill town, which is indicative of the prosperity of the area at the time.

The ruins of the Manetta Mills are very near the Lando schoolhouse along Fishing Creek. The town itself is a shadow of its former self since the closing of the mill in 1992, with only a few residents remaining. The schoolhouse itself was closed down in 1955.

The first floor of the schoolhouse contained classrooms, and the second floor was combination classroom and auditorium. The third floor is just balcony seating which overlooks the stage on the second floor below. Today the school sits abandoned and decaying at the end of Schoolhouse Road.

The school can be viewed from the road, but trespassing on the property is prohibited.

Colonial Iron Mine Nanny’s Mountain York, South Carolina During the American Revolutionary War, iron excavated from this mine was used to make swords, cannons, and more.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

JUST SOUTHWEST OF CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA, the ruins of a colonial open-pit iron ore mine are located on the hillsides of Nanny’s Mountain. The mine was operational from approximately 1760 to 1820. Prior to the Revolutionary War, the iron mine fueled early industry in the area and was used to make pots, kettles, and other household items. During the war, the mine supplied ore for cannonballs, round shot, swords, cannons, and other weaponry.

The area around the mine saw several important Revolutionary War battles, including the pivotal battle of King’s Mountain, where American colonists soundly defeated British forces on October 7, 1780. It’s possible that iron from this mine was used to make necessary supplies for the battle and may have made an important contribution to early American history. After the Revolution, some historians believe that this site was a stop on the Underground Railroad.

The mine pits can be viewed and explored along the short trail within the Nanny’s Mountain Historic Site Park. Pictures do not do justice to the size or depth of the pits. Keep in mind that these pits can be a safety hazard, so explore carefully.

Carhartt Mansion Ruins Rock Hill, South Carolina The ruins of this once-grand mansion are linked to one of the country’s most popular clothing brands.

IN THE WOODS OUTSIDE OF Rock Hill, South Carolina, stand the crumbling ruins of a once-grand house. Just a few years after it was completed its owner, Hamilton Carhartt, was killed in an automobile accident in 1937.

The founder of the Carhartt clothing company lived in Michigan, but had a second home built in Rock Hill because Carhartt owned a large cotton mill in the town. The clothing company employed many of the townspeople in the early 1900s, though this was only one of several major mills that supported the town’s economy.

After Carhartt died, the property was left vacant for a time. New owners came in and tried to restore the property and its grounds, but the site was eventually deserted. Now all that’s left is the crumbling remains of the once-grand mansion.

Today, Carhartt clothing is one of the most popular brands in America, though the company no longer has a presence in Rock Hill. This mansion now sits in ruins along the mountain bike trails of what is now the Riverwalk neighborhood. Numerous ruined structures can be freely explored by anyone willing to hike or bike to the location.
