WHO confirms Marburg virus outbreak in Equatorial Guinea: What to know about the viral disease

DAKAR, Senegal – The World Health Organization says that Equatorial Guinea has confirmed its first-ever outbreak of Marburg disease, saying the Ebola-related virus is responsible for at least nine deaths in the tiny Western African country.

In a statement on Monday, the U.N. health agency confirmed the epidemic after samples from Equatorial Guinea were sent to a lab in Senegal to pinpoint the cause of disease after an alert from a local health official last week.

The WHO said there were currently nine deaths and 16 suspected cases with symptoms including fever, fatigue, diarrhea and vomiting. The agency said it was sending medical experts to help officials in Equatorial Guinea stop the outbreak and was also sending protective equipment for hundreds of workers.

JACKSON, Miss. — The number of babies in Mississippi being treated for congenital syphilis has jumped by more than 900% over five years, uprooting the progress the nation’s poorest state had made in nearly quashing what experts say is an avoidable public health crisis. The rise in cases has placed newborns at further risk of life-threatening harm in a state that’s already home to the nation’s worst infant mortality rate.

In 2021, 102 newborns in Mississippi were treated for the sexually transmitted disease, up from 10 in 2016, according to an analysis of hospital billing data shared by Dr. Thomas Dobbs, the medical director for the Mississippi State Department of Health’s Crossroads Clinic in Jackson, which focuses on sexually transmitted infections.

Dobbs, the state’s former health officer, said he’s spoken with health care providers who “are absolutely horrified” that babies are being born with the disease, and in rare instances dying from it.

Plagues, Pestilences And Deadly Diseases Will Rise

This prophecy exists basically in two parts.  The first comes from Jesus Himself who predicts that there will be a massive rise in deadly diseases, plagues, pestilences, and unexplained sicknesses and maladies in the last days.  We’re already seeing that right now.  But then this event kicks into overdrive when the 4th seal is opened.  It’s as if Jesus takes an already raging fire and pours rocket fuel on it.  You can somewhat picture the resulting aftermath that would cause. o_0;;  Most biblical scholars view this as being two separate events.  I simply see it as the same event in two stages.  The first is a warning of what’s to come through smaller, less impactful events, and the latter is the main event that rocks the world to its very core.  As such, the first part is simply judgment, but the second is outright wrath, and since wrath can’t fall on this world until the Church is taken away in the rapture, all we will see for now is just lots of smaller events; samples of what’s to come once the restrictions are lifted and the seal judgments begin to fall.

ADMIN NOTE (2022-03-05): While this is likely to get a LOT worse in the future, I’ve seen enough to consider this fulfilled.

Pfizer Quietly Adds Language Warning That ‘Unfavorable Pre-Clinical, Clinical Or Safety Data’ May Impact Business

Two weeks ago, the FDA begged a Texas judge to delay production on the first monthly batch of 55,000 pages of Covid-19 vaccine data submitted to the agency by Pfizer. Originally, the agency was set to produce just 500 pages-per-month.

Now, Pfizer – which just forecast $54 billion in Covid-related sales in 2022, appears to be anticipating some bad news, as evidenced by several redline changes in their Q4 earnings releases.

As Rubicon Capital’s Kelly Brown notes on Twitter, the changes center around disclosures of unfavorable safety data.

2nd guilty plea expected in alleged plot to kidnap Whitmer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — A man charged in an alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is expected Wednesday to be the second person to admit guilt in the scheme, according to court documents.

Kaleb Franks said he would join Ty Garbin as the second person to admit guilt in a plot to abduct the Democratic governor before FBI agents arrested them in October 2020. The plea would give federal prosecutors another insider who would be a key witness against four other men scheduled to face trial in March.
