Vice President JD Vance made a remarkable comment this week that is certain to catch the attention of anyone who studies Bible prophecy.
During a lengthy conversation with Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford, Vance discussed his lifelong fascination with the end times and admitted that he does not know whether we are actually living in the final days described in Scripture.
But then he went further.
“There are, like, things about the world that make me feel, like, not shocked if the Antichrist was walking among us,” Vance said, while cautioning that he tries not to become overly focused on such speculation.
Vance pointed particularly to developments surrounding artificial intelligence, describing what he sees in parts of the technology world as having a strange spiritual darkness surrounding it. Yet his larger observation raises a fascinating question.
