Hal Turner is reporting that US senators were all just given satellite phones “in case something happens where they cannot use cell phones.”.

He is also saying:

High Level US politicians will be vacationing memorial day weekend with their families at various undisclosed “Continuity of Government (COG)” locations.

People are supposed to be at the destinations no later than May 27, 2023

Maybe they are worried about something?

Senators issued satellite phones, offered demonstrations on upgraded security devices

Amid growing concerns of security risks to members of Congress, more than 50 senators have been issued satellite phones for emergency communication, people familiar with the measures told CBS News. The devices are part of a series of new security measures being offered to senators by the Senate Sergeant at Arms, who took over shortly after the assault on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.The satellite phone technology has been offered to all 100 senators. CBS News has learned at least 50 have accepted the phones, which Senate administrative staff recommend senators keep in close proximity during their travels.

In testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee last month, Senate Sergeant at Arms Karen Gibson said satellite communication is being deployed “to ensure a redundant and secure means of communication during a disruptive event.”

Gibson said the phones are a security backstop in the case of an emergency that “takes out communications” in part of America. Federal funding will pay for the satellite airtime needed to utilize the phone devices.

Housing advocates are raising the alarm about House Republicans’ plan to dramatically cut the federal deficit to raise the debt ceiling, warning rental aid would be stripped from hundreds of thousands of struggling families who could face eviction and possible homelessness at a time when rents remain high.

House Republicans narrowly passed a sweeping measure last month that would roll back non-defense spending to 2022 levels — a proposal the National Low Income Housing Coalition said would slash housing and homelessness programs by 23%, a significant blow to the Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance program that around 2.3 million families rely on to cover rent.

“House Republicans’ plan would have drastic negative impacts on communities’ abilities to address homelessness and the housing crisis,” Diane Yentel, the coalition’s CEO and president, told The Associated Press. “If these proposals were enacted, it would mean communities would have to take away housing assistance from people who already have it, and need it.”

White House records obtained by the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot do not show any calls made to or from then-President Donald Trump during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, sources told The New York Times and CNN.

That same day, the House Oversight and Reform Committee wrote a letter to the National Archives inquiring about 15 boxes of presidential records recently recovered from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, as reported by The Washington Post.

The former President defended himself Wednesday by calling the report of destroying records “fake news.”

“The papers were given easily and without conflict and on a very friendly basis, which is different from the accounts being drawn up by the Fake News Media,” he wrote. “In fact, it was viewed as routine and ‘no big deal.’ In actuality, I have been told I was under no obligation to give this material based on various legal rulings that have been made over the years.”

HYPOCRISY: Gov. Despite supporting the 2020 summer Black Lives Matter riots, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said that conservative media supporting the Freedom Convoy protest up north in Canada against COVID-19 mandates is “unhelpful” and “dangerous.”

Whitmer condemned the ongoing Freedom Convoy, although she had a different take in 2020 when violent BLM rioters torched private property, looted businesses, and attacked law enforcement protecting residential communities.

During an interview with CNN political commentator Brianna Keilar on Friday, the Democrat governor said, “We cannot incite and encourage people to break the law. Especially when it means they’re throwing other Americans out of work and creating an economic crisis that we were just recovering from.”

Nesta recently put out a “guide” outlining some of the techniques that are being used to psychologically provoke the general public into accepting a new normal to fight global warming.

Greenhouse gas emissions, the report states, are evil and must be done away with by the government. One way to do this is by launching a “nudge unit” to corral the human herd into embracing a future filled with green fascism and the loss of all freedoms, which we are told destroy the planet.

The stated purpose of the nudge unit is to brainwash people into living shackled lives for fear that if they don’t, the planet will melt, the oceans will rise, and everyone will die from the polar ice caps turning into water.
